FAMILY LIFE DEPARTMENT

Rev Dr. & Mrs. Timothy & Delali Adjei

Heads of Department

The Family Life Department is concerned with everything that has to do with the family. It is said that the family is the basic unit of the society. The family Life department is responsible for everything that has to do with the family system. This department ensures that would be married couples are taken through proper pre-marital counseling and also sees to counseling needs that may arise in the course of the marriage journey.
The department also spearheads every relationship or marriage programme that would be organized by the church. As part of the responsibilities of this department is ensuring that the church’s vision of reaching out to men and women in the area of marriage and pre-marital relationships is accomplished. This it has done by instituting the Couples’ Fellowship which meets every other month; the main aim of the Couples’ Fellowship is to provide opportunities for couples to grow and nourish their marriages in order to have a fulfilling union which is pleasing to God.

CREATIVE ARTS DEPARTMENT

Green Pastures Ministries is a church that believes in the use of the other areas of gifting that have for a long time been downplayed or underused in the service of the Lord. The Creative Arts Department deploys the use of all forms of creative ways by which to carry across the message of the Kingdom such as Drama, Dance, Poetry, Art, etc. Why don’t you join this department and see what the master of all creativity would accomplish in the Kingdom through you?

USHERING DEPARTMENT

Deacon Godfred Amoah Yerenkyi

A department of some of the most dedicated and hardworking believers, this department makes it their priority to constantly ensure that the House of the Lord is spick and span before, during and after services. This department also ensures that worshippers are well received and comfortable as they come to worship the Lord.

NEXT GENERATION DEPARTMENT

Mrs. Elizabeth Agbo

Head of Department

Being a very family conscious church, Green Pastures Ministries believes in the scripture that says ‘Train up a Child the Way she should go, and he shall not depart from it’. As such, under very able leadership, the department seeks to constantly train the children into full blown teenagers who love the Lord and are whole heartedly dedicated to him.’

REFRESHING SPRINGS

The Refreshing Springs is the music department of Green Pastures Ministries. The music department comprises a network of talented musicians and instrumentalists who are willing and ready to serve the Lord with their talents under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Refreshing Springs ministers powerfully under the anointing of the Holy Spirit every week during all the services, leading the church into the very presence of the Lord.

TECHINICAL DEPARTMENT

Working closely in tandem with the Refreshing Springs, the Technical Department is in charge of everything that has to do with equipment and sound in the church. The department ensures that everything technical about the service works perfectly, from the generator to the projector to the microphones and cables.

EVANGELISM & FOLLOW UP

This department is one of the core arms of the church, which main duty is to ensure that every single soul that ever steps foot in Green Pastures Ministries is accounted for. They also ensure that new converts are called on frequently until they are established in the faith. Chief of all their duties is the sending of the Word of the God through all forms of evangelism, i.e. in buses, taxis, house to house, etc.

MEDIA DEPARTMENT

The Media department is an integral part of the church and plays a vital role in ensuring the dissemination of information in various forms to further the vision and Mission of GPM. The media department directs its effort in ensuring that sound and video system and its operation contribute to the church’s vision and mission by reaching out to as many people as possible using radio, social media, PowerPoint presentations, Web pages and other forms of communication. Our services include audio recording, sound, photography, video recording and audio-video duplication. We thrive on support from volunteers and welcome participation in creating awareness of the Gospel to our community to enable members actualize their God given purpose through available medium.
